Family Promise Ministry
Family Promise is a Salt Lake area ministry seeking to meet the needs of families in need of housing and support during very difficult times in life. Good Shepherd hosts Family Promise guests several times a year. This is an amazing ministry and we are always in need of volunteers during our weeks of hosting. Children of Peace International
The 2010 Children of Peace International fundraising banquet is scheduled for Saturday, October 23 at the Salt Lake Community College Miller Campus. Tickets to this amazing night are $30 per person and are available between services on Sunday morning at Good Shepherd Lutheran or by contacting the church office (801-255-8181).
The event includes a special message from binh rybacki (founder of COPI), buffet dinner, and silent auction. All proceeds will benefit Children of Peace International.
